Falcon Player (FPP) / FPP Connect kicks off FPP Sche...

Hi, not 100% sure where to put this but I was wondering if someone could explain what is happening for me. I'm running XLights 2025.12.1, Falcon F16 V3 and Raspberry PiV5 with FPP 8.5.1. If I use FPP connect to upload a sequence to FPP during scheduled show time the currently running playlist stops and the highest priority playlist starts up. Is that normal? Not really a deal breaker as I can manually restart the correct playlist. Thanks in advance for any comments.

Thanks, it is back up now. I'll do some investigation tomorrow to find out why it went down and try to prevent it from happening again.

That's what I thought as well. Tested all cables and glands with a tester and everything was a pass. Even made a new cable

cable or cable glands. The cable has a pair for each port - so a pair is bad or a pin in gland is bad.

Well I got Port 1 back via a factory reset of the F16v3. Port 2 is still flashing on both remotes though. Seems like there is a problem with the #2 Serial Port. I have them all set to pixel data on the web interface. Looking into maybe problems with the FPP?

I totally agree, you might want to consider Remote Falcon, it way more popular and very well supported and the developer is very pro active it keeping things running smoothly. It is actually the most widely used plug in on FPP.

The biggest part of the question was related to making sure ground was connected through, and if power was isolated between sections.  Since you are sourcing all the power from the same power supply, have the power non-isolated is just fine (what I do too).

I'm not sure I understand the question.  I have a 3 pin T connector at the power injection sites.  I have pulled the data pin out of the T where the power injection screws in.  I have not pulled the data pin out of the "straight through" portion of the T connector.  The power is connected to power, and the ground is connected to ground.

It looks like the voting site is down. It was fine earlier this week, but I noticed it had stopped working on Wednesday night. Two symptoms: 1) when I go to the voting URL, I see a blank white screen; 2) when I stop and restart the plug-in, it just spins on the Unique voting URL line. People really like the ability to pick the next song, so I hope you can look at this soon.
