Just got shipping notice for my F16V5 and couple V5 receivers excited to play with this.

I don't know how I feel about them.  The new 16 port has 4 SR ports, but no longer has an expansion port.  I don't mind SRs in native mode, but not a huge fan of smart mode.  Hate the a,b,c,d,e,f configuration.  My display gets moved around every year, and the SR port boxes are NEVER labeled correctly.  Label them 17a,17b,17c this year and next year attached to a different controller, they 21a,21b,21c (still labeled 17a,17b,17c).  I am waiting for the 32 port controller to be available and see what that one looks like.

I probably should have waited for the F32V5 I want to upgrade my pixel tree next year and it would work great for that. Really interested in the electronic fuse and power monitor. I did get a K8-PB with the electronic fuses to replace my K8-PB.

F32v5 + 4 receivers in dumb mode = F16v4 + 2 x 16 port expansions functionally.  I am OK with that.

F48v5 is the next to be released (late this year I'm hearing), F32v5 will come after that.

I prefer smaller 16+ port controllers, but 32+ port boxes are the way to go for larger props.  (It gets messy connecting your mega-tree to 3-4 boxes)  I liked keeping a spare board or two on hand that could repair any box.  One board would resolve a lot of situations.  Maybe the 32 port board will be the same size, and not cost much more money!  HaHa
