I would like to put Spade Terminals on the Power Supply end of the wire that goes from the Power Supply to a Smart Receiver V2 Board.  I have ferrule crimps on the Smart Receiver Side for 12 gauge wire that fit under the screw terminals. I am trying to find a spade terminal for 12 gauge wire that will fit under the Screw Terminals of the Mean Well LRS-350-12 Power Supply. I have 14 gauge spade crimps that fit under the power supply terminals but would prefer not to downgrade to 14 gauge wire unless It's my only option. That being said, I am only running 100 - 200 Pixels at 30% brightness on each of the 4 ports on the Smart Receiver board. Would 14 gauge be sufficient?  I have read some post that say to trim the spade terminals width to fit, but do not like that option either. Has anyone found Spade Terminals for 12 gauge wire that fit under the screw terminals on a Mean well Power Supply?
Thanks for any input. - Don

Hi there,

Check out McMaster-Carr.  They have everything.  I quickly used their parametric search to get all spade terminals suitable for 12awg wire and #6 screws (educated guess based on prior use of meanwell supplies)

https://www.mcmaster.com/terminals/wire-connection-type~crimp-on/terminal-type~spade/for-wire-gauge~12/for-screw-size~no-6/

They give you all the specs so you can double check that they will fit the power supply before you buy them.

Thanks for this information.  I've been looking as well.  (Exhausted my supply last year.)

Thanks for the info! They have spade terminals that will fit. I started to place an order but did not get a shipping estimate. Has anyone ordered from then? How much was shipping? I like to know aprox amount before I order, so I don't end up paying 30.00 shipping for a 19.00 item. (I did once, and it was not even expedited shipping)

I have been using Garner Bender 10-113.  Says 16-14 wire but I have been using it with 12ga, but does fit tight.  I got my 100 pack via Amazon back in 2017.  Home Depot does carry a lot of Gardner Bender stuff - a whole section of stuff, but when I was looking a few days ago it was not for this so can't say for sure  that it will be in stock there.

Just for grins I will say that the Amazon price in Oct 2017 was $8.59 for a 100 pack and I still have about 1/4 the package left.

I have the Wirefy Spade terminals that are 16-14 wire, but the 12 gauge does not fit without some of the strands just wrapping around and not fitting inside.

Normally they ship UPS ground so it's not extremely cheap but it has never been outrageous either.  I have ordered from them hundreds of times

Thanks, I will order them! They don't weigh much so it should not be too bad.
