Difference Between F48 Versions

I can't find a comparison between the different F48 versions (v1, v4, v5) except that apparently there is no v2 and no v3 and then when going from v1 to v4 "no more Bank sharing and now you can chain more than 3 receivers together (with the new receivers)". So does that mean each port can be configures to any number of pixels (up to a max of 1024 for 20fps and something like 680 for 40fps)?

What other changes are there from v1 to v4? How about from v4 to v5? I don't even see a v5 forum so maybe the only change is "long range", whatever that is (I assume cable runs longer than 200' or so).
