I have an expansion like in the first picture connected to my f16. Output D on the expansion is connected to 1 differential receiver. Port #3 on that receiver will not work. I've tested and replace all the rj45 connections. I know it's not the pixels because when I swap to another port on the same receiver they work. Would the chip in the second picture go bad in a sense that 3 of the 4 ports on the receiver work and one wouldn't? i've also swapped the receiver and still port #3 does not work.

I figured out that it's just a nice sturdy Ethernet housing. No signal boost.

I bough some used Falcon Smart Receivers v1.0.3 and the box has this Ethernet cable with chip. I'm not sure if it's a booster of some kind? I can't see a name or brand on it. I didn't see anything like this on the Falcon Pixelcontroller.com website. See attachment.

Use LEDVISION 8.5. It works great with FPP.

I asked because all 3 of my Pi's (2-pi4 1-p3B+) all had Bytes Received Errors with DDP.
When I switched everything over to E131 the issues went away!

I get that error all the time as well, but was ignoring it for now.

I believe eseq files have to be 50ms timing.   Not 100% sure on that.
