Standalone mode F4V3 not working at all

Rendered in xlights 2021.38 a V1 and a V2 non compressed version of a sequence that plays just lovely through the F4V3 from xlights.

HOWEVER, in standalone mode using the sd card, the F4V3 on firmware 2.59 plays NOTHING.

Using for a one off prom tomorrow night and would like to solve this so I don't need  to pack a router I cannot find to make a network I don't want to use and have to run even more cables around the place.

Why not just attach a Pi running FPP and connect via tethering to control everything.  Easy peasy.
