I can see the board has a small port near the wifi radio. I am curious what connector this is to try and place an external antenna to provide longer range for wifi signal.

If you are expecting to do anything at all with wifi directly on a Falcon board, You should tone down your expectations quite a lot based on everything I have seen on the forums and facebook.

Like Jim stated, what do you think you are going to accomplish with Wi-Fi on the F48?

It is an IPEX connector.  As Jim suggested, the V4 series wireless option is limited.  Transfers are slow and problematic.  I have heard the V5 series will address some of these issues, but have not seen it working yet.

I have used the below antenna which boosted the signal strength significantly for what it is worth.  https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08T8BFBCD/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
