Beaglebone Pocket atttached to Kurt PB Controller w/n update from xlights

Just got my Kurt PB Pixel controller that has a beaglebone pocket attached to it, and I can get FPP 5.5 to configure, however that's all it will do.  In xlights I have the configuration DDP as prescribed as vendor: ScottNation, Model: PB16, variant: Expansion. and xlights sees the controller and allows me to open it.
The problem is when I try to Upload the xlights configuration to the controller through xlights I keep getting Input Upload failed.  Additionally I connected a string oF WS2811 (50) and I can't even get FPP to run any sort of test pattern.

The upload issue is probably due to you not being on the current version of FPP. There have been some updates to both FPP and xLights.

The output issue is likely to due to a configuration issue....How about posting a screenshot of your Output Port page? (Screenshot and not picture of your screen please)
