I believe there are changes in FPP 10 in the way that wifi APs are scanned for that may or may not help.

I did move the pi closer to my wifi access point and I'm getting better results.  There are still some times when it doesn't respond but if I give it 15 mins and try again it then does respond.  Whereas before it would not respond to future requests even if left alone.  

Is this just how the raspi 2 zero w wifi acts?

Not sure if related but I am able to see that the /sbin/iw dev wlan0 scan is sometimes eating 100% cpu on one of the cores and doesn't seem to come back down.  The website hasn't locked up but when I ssh into the device it is slow to show my keystrokes.

The wlan scan might happen when I click to the network settings.  As the process eventually went away (after about 20 mins).  So looks like it's not the culprit to the site locking up.

Hi there, 

I'm hoping someone can give me some ideas/solutions of other places I can look for what's going on.

I have a new Pi zero 2 W and I'm not even running any shows yet.  Just trying to have the web server be stable.


Issue:

Often times I'll load the FPP web site (by static IP address) and it loads, but then once I click on something the request never comes back and it just hangs.  The FPP site is seemingly then locked out until I restart the pi.  This happens almost constantly.  Doesn't matter if I give it 5 mins or try from another device. 

What I've done:

- I have a monitor connected and can see the pi hasn't crashed, and that htop is showing nothing is churning away in the cpu

- Testing it indoors about 15 feet away from wireless access point

- Have a good power supply delivering 3A

- Have tried 2 SD cards including a new good quality SanDisk card

- Updated FPP, issue happened before and after update

- Have tried Googling everything I can but I can't get good hits to help debug this or what the issue might be


Any help would be appreciated
