Hi, i recently got my F16v5 delivered around the globe to Austria.

I played around a bit in the webUI, I plugged in the first LED strip (WS2815) the +/- of the 2 additional power lines of the strip (that allow the connection of an external power supply) touched when the strip was plugged into the controller.

Since then the display of the controller doesn't turn on anymore, the webUI is not reachable, the fuse indicator LEDs are always on and the microcontroller gets very hot.
Did i fry my controller?
If so, is it repairable? At my office I would have the means and colleagues with the skill and knowledge to replace components (even the STM if needed).
If it's the STM that needs to be replaced: Can this be done or does it require some sort of factory flashing?

Thank you very much for your help, I'm really desperate to get it working again as it was far from cheap to get it shipped across the globe.

Additional info: The controller is powered with a lab power supply and the voltage switches are set correctly.

This is an issue where you need to contact David Pitts direct.  I suspect that he is the only one who can help you.  Check the Falcon website for contact info.

Yes there is factory flashing required.

First off perform a factory reset... power off. press and hold sel and reapply power.

Thanks a lot for the quick replies.

I tried the factory reset: The PWR led comes on, the screen stays off and the right half of the fuse leds turn on. I left it in this state for 15-ish minutes, but nothing happened.
When i power the board without holding sel, the PWR and LED1 come on and the fuse leds light up very dimly

A thermal camera showed a very intense heat spot on the STM
