Differential Board: PSU & Enclosure

I have an F48 v1 (white) with the corresponding 4 port smart differential boards (also white). I created one enclosure with a Meanwell LRS-350-12 PSU and two differential boards.

I need a couple of boxes with just one differential board. One differential board cannot consume more than 4*5A=20A so that LRS-350-12 seems overkill. It's also somewhat large. So I am wondering what PSU people use for just 1 smart differential board and what enclosure you use.

You are right that a 350 watt power supply is likely overkill for a single diff board.  However there is something to be said for standardization.  I have a single diff board in a box with a 350 watt power supply.  It is driving 1614 pixels however (about 125 of those never on).
Using LOR (mostly SuperStar) for all sequencing - using FPP only to drive P5 and P10 panels.

I do have another LRS-350-12 laying around. And I was actually just thinking of using the same box I currently have for 2 differential boards. I also contemplate using the same cutouts but just install 1 differential board instead of two. That way I can always add another one if a box with 2 boards breaks down. What I don't like with my current box is that I have have this stand-off board onto which I mount the differential boards. Also the cables come on the side which takes up more storage space. I am currently using an MTM ammo can AC-30C. See attachments.

What enclosure/case do you use? Do you happen to have any pictures?

I am looking at this again. It would be great if there is some enclosure that has mountings for a PSU and 1-2 extension boards. Is there anything like that or is everyone just building their own custom case?

CG-1500 and Bud boxes are what I see people use most often, but boxes found in a hardware store are common.  Every display is different, but as Jim said, there is something for consistency.  Controller parts are often difficult to find in December, not to mention shipping is slower, so it is a good idea to keep some items on hand in case you run into some problems.  If everything is using the same hardware, it makes things easier to swap around if you need to.

I use marine battery boxes for controllers that will sit on the ground.  I have a base and a top that fit in there and use powerpole quick connects for power from the base (with PS) to the top which may be a controller or even a receiver.  In general I never use receiver unless I need one or two more ports in a single location or if a controller fails, but I can quickly put a receiver top on one of my bases if I am trying to recover from a failure.  Standardization can bring big benefits for backup.  With the battery box there is no need to put glands in so any configuration works just fine.  https://photos.app.goo.gl/Pte1CNjeoMFwSU2j6
