MMAL error 2 "ENOSPC"

I have a system with 1 master and 9 remotes playing a playlist of videos (16 minutes in total), triggered by the schedular every 20 minutes. It works flawlessly, ALMOST.

I am still chasing rather infrequent - yet inevitable - cases of errors which cause one of my remotes to go quiet and drop out (i.e. cannot be seen by the master): MMAL error 2 "ENOSPC".

As I am not yet using them in the "production" environment, only 3 of them are connected to actual screens - and so far the errors seem to occur only in the remotes that are connected to a screen.

Any idea how to resolve this?
Thanks!
Jay

Did you resolve this? If so, which was it (driver problem, cable problem, video problem, gpu memory problem, camera problem, other)?

FPP is designed to be headless. What are you using the screens for?
