Previous smart differential receiver

While I understand that there are advantages to the new F48v4, will the older receiver continue to be manufactured?  I'm hoping that the shortage right now is due to demand and component shortages.  I would hate to have to replace my existing F48 because I couldn't get any more compatible receivers.
