Can I inject power with empty ports?  Run a 323 T from port 16 to an injection point?

Yes.  You can't attach the second data cable into the mix, but if you only use positive and negative it would work fine.

Very new to this hobby....it has been a great experience.

I just want to make sure I am understanding injection with a 323 T.

Male side has V/D/G.  The Data wire runs straight through to the Female side.

The "2" part of the T is only V/G.  When I add a pigtail there I am not using the data wire from the pigtail.

I am assuming that power injection is running to the male side and female side to help with supplying power left and right.

I hope this makes sense.

I may also be at the end of my 360V power supply.  I have 1700 pixels (0.3?) attached to my controller.  The controller I have is a RTR 16v4 from pixel controller.

Assuming the 3-2-3 T is wired like below... that probably would NOT work.  There are three pins coming from the controller and only two on the below tee.  You can't plug a 2 pin cable into a 3 pin port.   You would probably need a 3-3-3 T and remove the data pin with a pair of pliers.

As for power, it would depend on the lights.  Hopefully you meant to type 360 watts instead of 360v.  I have ran a lot more than 1,700 lights off a 360 watt power supply, but I usually only run the lights at 30-40% power.

Check continuity on the 3/3 part of your tee. Like JonD is showing likely V+ does not go through but it might. If it goes through only use the same power supply for injection. If it is cut, then you can use the same or different power.
