There are several threads about it following your thread.  You should read all the threads for your won education since there is no manual, there are not that many.

I have used the Edimax but I am not happy with the performance of it. The pi seems to crawl along after a day or two of running on wireless. I personally am going to run wired. If you need wireless a small external wireless access point may be the way to go. If anyone else if having success please post your setup.
