Hello, I followed the instructions from the last Xlights Gems to upgrade my two BBB K8 and K32 to 9.3 . Since then I am having major issues with the Wifi to these two controller. Both are using TP-Link USB AC1300 Wifi adapters, which have been flawless for the past few weeks as I prep the show.
I can power them both up, they get IPs assigned immediately and I can work through the web interface with no issue. I ran a few player-remote sequences and it looked fine. Then the player lost connection over wifi. I rebooted that, wifi returned and ran the sequences again, no issues.  I went to check the remote webpage and it had lost connection over wifi. Not sure what the issue is, but having to go outside to reboot often is getting frustrating.

On the upper right corner of the screen is the Wifi info and signal.
Do you have a good strong signal?
How far is it from the Wifi?

When it is connected, full strength signal. One is about ten feet from the house Router , the other is about forty feet. The furthest one has been running my Megatree for the past three weeks , on test sequences , with no issue. I had to replace one USB Wifi adapter this year, apparently FPP 9.3 has dropped some support for older Wifi dongles. These are TPLink, AC1300 adapters, both connect without issue when the controllers are powered on, then just stop at some point. Even right after I have run a sequence, one will drop off . My router has them assigned permanent IP addresses. I even pulled them out of their boxes, into the open air, for an evening, they still both dropped off the network at some point. One odd bit of evidence, when I go look at the LCD screens, they show their assigned IP addresses, not a 'No Network' message. But when I try to access them , I'll get a timeout error on the browser window.
