Is there some kind of swtich somewhere to turn the LED display on?
the board is brand new, I just got it last year... and I havent used it yet...

so, I must be missing something somewhere. Can someone please direct me to where I might find how to turn the dang thing on?

Usually just tap any of the buttons.  I usually use the up arrow.  (habit)
Sequencers: Vixen3 and xLights

that did not work. I tried pressing that and all the other buttons to no avail.
hmm, sounds like I have a bad LED display....
