Description
F4V2 4-Port Pixel Controller
The controller receives 64 universes of E131 data no problem. One DMX, Pixelnet or Renard RS-485 Output

Board current specs

Power
Board is powered from pixel power. Input can be 5-24VDC.
4 - Fused outputs for main board and expansion board.

Number of strings
4 strings or 12 strings with expansion board.
All strings can use any of the 32768 channels this controller can receive as a start address.
Each string can be independently configured for null nodes, zigzag, forward/reverse, node type, pixel count , grouping etc...

Pixel per string
680 pixels per string in 4 string mode or 340 pixels per string with additional expansion board operating in 12 string mode.

String Types
All string ports can be any of the following string types. They all can be independently set.
WS2801 / WS2803
WS2811 / WS2812 / TM1804 / TM1803 / TM1809 / TM1812 / SM16715 / INK1003
TLS3001 / TLS3002 / CY3005
LPD6803 / D705 / LPD1101 / USC6909 / UCS6912
GE Color Effects (GECE)

String Types to be added in near future
1903, SM16716, MBI6020, P981x, APA102

What are the dimensions of the board?

Any idea on ship dates?

WooHoo - just snagged one...and a 16v2r...and a diff board...and 4 receiver boards.   ;D

Excited to join others as a user of this equipment!

Thanks,
Dave

Yep! Snagged 4 receivers, differential board and 2 f4v2's.  Been hitting refresh on the pixel controller page since Saturday .  Haha

Does anyone know what the 12 port expansion board is that the description in the F4V2 site is referring to?
Can the F4V2 drive the differential expansion board?

Broomy111

Yes, the differential board drives those receiver boards up to 250ft away.

Just to be clear, the 16 port expansion board attaches to the f16v2 via a ribbon cable.  The differential board is for driving pixels at a longer distance.

The expansion board being designed for the F4V2 will expand the F4V2 to 12 local ports (8 more on expansion). There is also a 8 differential expansion with no ribbon cable being designed also (Two RJ-45 connectors). This board will mount to header on FPGA/processor board without ribbon cable. The same four port receiver boards will be used.

Oh, I was talking about the other expansion card, sorry to muddy the waters.  I'll stay out of it from now on. Haha

LOL. Well I am also going to make first jack on F16V2 and F16V2R output four strings of differential to be used with one receiver board. It will use all serial ports so you will not be able to output DMX, Pixelnet or Renard when in this mode.

Thanks David.  And WOW, it's like you are reading my mind and know what I would need.  So many options to choose from now.  Adding the single differential board from the RJ45, would that prevent the use of the ribbon cable as well?  Or are you projecting I could do F16V2R with expansion board plus 1 differential board 250 feet away?  That is exactly what I need.

Yeah. I do not see any reason why you could not do both. When in 32 string mode the diff signals coming from the F16V2 main board would use ports 29 to 32 so they would output same data as regular expansion board's port 29 to 32.
