Pi Hats Kits For Sale

I have a limited number of Pi Hats for sale. You can find more details in Discussion post 15218.0, "Gauging Interest in My Pi Hats".

I have developed two hats that fit on Raspberry PIs to use in my FPP Christmas display. These boards sure clean up the cluttered mess that I had in my first display last year. I am now offering these to other FPP users on a limited basis, about twenty of each type. You will need good soldering skills (no surface mounts) and be able to read/understand a schematic.

The smaller board is in the Zero footprint size. It only provides two PWM pixel port outputs. This hat fits perfectly on Pi Zeros and will also fit a full size Pi. It incorporates a SN74AHCT125N to convert the signal levels to drive the pixel strings. Power from your 12V supply connects to a terminal block. Two other terminal blocks provide the output to your strings, including 5A PTC resettable fuses.

The full size hat for a Pi provides the same two PWM pixel port outputs, plus 8 relay port controls. The relay port outputs could be used to drive solid state relays for dumb AC LED strings, or something similar. There is also a patching area so you can substitute a replacement GPIO port for one that has gone bad. This hat fits best on full size Pi's, but can also mount on PI Zeros. If you don't want to drive relays, you can simply ignore this feature, or not mount the relevant components.

A couple of questions
1. Does it include the components to be soldered or need to source those separately?
2. I'm understanding that these come with the PiZero?  or separate?
3. Don't understand what this means... "These hats are NOT designed for use driving multiple pixel strings as in the newer 6.x release."  Can you expand on that?
