Is there any way to configure the output displayed an OLED display connected to FPP running on RPi's?   I am setting up a standalone show player and really don't need the QR code displaying.  It will be using WiFi and if I need to connect hardwired, I will be able to connect it directly to a switch.  Just trying to limit the amount of cables.  :)

The RPi does not come with a display.  Do you have a third party OLED for the RPi or is the RPi attached to a controller?  I think you can disable the QR Scan code from showing by going into network settings and disable the tethering mode.

Yes, I got a S2Pi Mini Tower Kit which includes a Ice Cooling Fan Tower and .96" OLED screen.  The FPP configuration settings working well with it from what I can tell.  The fan does include WS281x led support which working with FPP I haven't figured out.   Another project another time with show season underway.  Really cool tower for a standalone FPP player.

I did turn off tethering and the QR code went away.  Thanks for the pointer!

Got the QR code removed but should I be see PICap on the OLED when rebooting sequence starts?   This is a new FPP Pi image but is a stand alone player (no cap).  I did restore from a backup from a FPP running on a Pi with a Falcon Pi-Cap.   Just not sure what would or should show on the OLED during booting sequence.

Is the QR code that big of a deal? Turning off tethering will make is so that if you somehow mess up your configuration, the only way to get back into your FPP would be to re-image the card....Tethering is a great tool to help out.
If to err is human, I am more human than most people.

Not sure about this question but it's a matter of personal preference.  Also, as an IT professional, the number one rule when building something new that works is to back it up.  ;)

Btw...My Samsung Galaxy S22+ camera wouldn't scan the QR code on the screen.
