Hi everyone, I need your help please.

I am trying to add some servos to my show using PCA9685. I will be running PCA9685 from a raspberry pi. I am not sure what I am doing wrong as I am trying to test the servo on xlights talking to the raspberry pi. I have attached pictures how I set up FPP and Xlights.
Is there something I am missing?

Do they work when testing from FPP? That should be your first testing point. If they don't work from FPP, they will not work from xLights

Thank you so much, that helps a TON!

Look in xLights and see how many channels you have your FPP configured to output? Does that look correct?

In xLights, you have your FPP configured as FPP Player Only which means that it is NOT outputting anything to local port, but it is just sending E1.31/DDP or Multisync data to OTHER devices...AKA Player only. Since this FPP is acting as a Controller, you need to tell xLights that it is going to be a controller. Did you put your servos in your layout and assign them to a controller?

Thank you for your reply. I got it to work on testing mode on FPP. My only issue is to set up xlights to talk to FPP. I have updated my controller settings but unfortunately I still can't output to lights to test my servos in the sequence. I thing I have the controller setting on xlights wrong but I am not sure what part is wrong. Thank you

It doesn't look like you are letting xLights configure FPP? You don't have FPP configured as a Controller. You probably want to set the Model as PiHat. And you probably don't want to manually configure the controller either, use the Visualizer and push the configuration.

Where did you get the values that you entered for the servos?

How about a screenshot of your Outputs page from FPP?

Thanks a lot for your help. I have missed the visualizer part. As soon as I added that, everything worked fine. Thank you  :)
I got these values from a tutorial found on youtube.

Hi- Can you share your final configuration in xLights? I have the same issue, I can move the servo manually using the 'Display Testing' but not through xLights. I know xLights can talk to FPP because I see the Status change and I get an error on FPP saying "RPIWS281x: No output pin configuration for: PiHat, Could not initialize output type RPIWS281X. Check logs for details."

Do you have the inputs enabled on your FPP?
Did you install the virtual eeprom?
