Cannot change serial settings for Renard

Well, I'm trying to test some renard boards and my serial settings will not change. I had to do a factory reset at the end of last year as my controller got stuck and couldn't make any setting changes. I have it back up and running (i thought) but now every time I try to change my renard settings to 57600 baud and 1 stop bit it just goes back to 19200 and 2 stop bits. Any ideas?

Did you upgrade to latest firmware or some other version?

Yes, I saved the current settings then did a factory reset. then upgraded to 2.55 then 2.59 as suggested. the update went fine and now I can change the settings and my renard controllers work. However, the first channel on the string doesn't work. strange. I'm not currently using any renard controllers so not a big deal. Still interesting though.
