Audio Stalls on 8th music sequence

Audio stops but lights keeps going on the 8th music sequence. Shortened one sequence to 5 seconds and hit repeat, still stalls on 8th time. Log says Audio Stalled. Pi Zero W with USB sound. Tried V5.3, 5.5, 6.1, and 6.2. All do same thing. Any ideas to try / places to look?

Is it always the 8th or is it always a particular song.  You can change the order easily in the FPP scheduler.  You can also just play a single sequence from the status page to check if it is a particular sequence.  If it is just one then rerender, reupload, erase the music from the unit and reupload the music.  At least that is where I would start.

Thanks Jim. Tried different sequences, playlists, even just hitting play on same sequence. Always plays seven times, no matter how long I let the song run, or what song it is, and hangs on start of eighth time. At least its very consistent. Tried few different power supplies, getting powered USB hub to try that tomorrow. Just seems like has to be Software related because it is so consistent.

Could it be a problem with the song format?  Some times you need to use audacity to clean them up. 

"The most common supported files on the FFP are .mp3 and .ogg. There is limited support for .mp4 and .m4p files for audio.  Constant Bit Rate (CBR) audio works well. Variable Bit Rate(VBR) is quite uncommon."

Thanks Jon. I originally cleaned everything up with Audacity, but that was before I ported everything over from Light-O-Rama to Xlights this year. Maybe something got goofed. Will try re-creating simple sequence with fresh Audacity file tonight, see if helps.

Tried USB hub on audio stick yesterday, works much better. Guessing maybe the buffer in the hub helps it not back up / stall out.
