64 bit OS recommendation

Is there a recommendation as to the installation of the 64 bit OS?  Is it stable?

I'm currently using the latest version of FPP: v10x-master-537-g2838769b

It depends on what hardware you are running.

The 32 bit build of FPP will run on any supported platform (even 64 bit capable devices).

The 64 bit build is good and stable, but you have to have the hardware to support it. The device has to not only be 64 bit capable, but also have enough memory to support it as well because the 64 bit build would be more memory intensive.
For example:
Pi Zero 2W and Pi 3 both are 64 bit capable, but they wont productively run a light show on a 64 bit build of FPP simply because Pi Zero 2 W only has 512MB RAM and Pi 3 has 1GB.

When its good:
Pi 4 or Pi 5 with at least 2GB RAM

When it matters:
If you have a Pi with more than 4GB of RAM.
Typically, 32 bit operating systems max out at 4GB of RAM. Therefore, any system with a 32 bit OS and more than 4GB of RAM has useless resources as it cannot efficiently use the memory.

I have been running the 64 bit version ever since that became the default version a long time ago.  And I am running it on PiZ2W, 3. 3B+, 4 and Multiple Beagle Bones.  I suppose if your show is very big you might have an issue on the older, smaller units, but I have not and usually have 12 to 20 songs in my playlists.
