I have 3 Raspberry Pi's with PiHats running FPP fine.  I bought a Kulps K16A-B unit last year and am just now getting it set up to use.  I downloaded FPP 7.5 and flashed it to the SD.  I can connect to it and see the Initial Setup page, but no matter what I enter or select it never goes any farther when I hit "Finish Setup."  Is there a walk through or anything for the new version on BeagleBone?

This video is for version 6m but the process is the same

The FPP Manual also has a step by step guide.

Hello, I'm new here and i just bought my first controller (Kulp 16 A-B).  FPP was flashed on a 64Gb SD card when purchased from Kulp Lights.
I have the controller connected to 2 power supplies to power both sides of the controller.
My connection of choice is Wireless, and it appears i have a good WIFI connection even when pinged.
I have connected a small 30-pixel test light string to Port 1 and have it configured in FPP.
When i go to "Display Testing", I select "Start Channel 1", "End Channel 91", Then when i enable the Test Mode, i get no pixels on my test string to light up.
On the controller, Port 1 is lit up, my light string is connected into port 1, i have 11.9v going all the way thru the pixel string but no pixels are lit.
It seems like i have Voltage, but no is Data Flowing.
Any ideas on what i need to look for or turn on in my setup?

Thanks in advance.

Post screen shot how you configured the string.

Pixel strings are directional.  Make sure that you are connected to the input side of the string and not the output.  Connecting to the wrong end will not hurt the string but it will not work that way.  If this does not work then as requested above, please post a screen shot of your FPP configuration screen as well as your test configuration screen.

The first step would be to reflash the card and see if anything changes.  IF you have another card, you may want to try that as well.  If the Beaglebone cannot write to the card, it will never get past the setup screen.  Another thing to try is to fully expand the card prior to finishing setup.  There will be a menu option to do that.

Your channel numbers may not be what you think they are.  display test using all pixels before trying specific ranges.  Under model name select "all local channels".

And next time start your own thread with a more specific title.  It is not good practice to piggyback off an old thread.
