Hi, quick question.
I want to control the location of the audio around the display, I can mix the source audio for this.
If I use a USB 5.1 audio interface on the pi, does fpp support 5.1 playback?

Yes.  If you turn on the Advanced mode, there are some settings in there for the audio channel counts and such.   The main caveat is that ALL the audio files must match.
