F48 firmware Stuck Loading 4 of 6

I'm attempting to update the firmware on my f48 and it's been stuck at "loading 4 of 6" for about 40 mins now.

I don't want to reboot it just in case it'll become a paper weight.

Any suggestions before I pull the power plug?

Well after 2 hours I bit the bullet and rebooted.  Now it doesn't load anymore. I certainly hope I haven't made a paper weight.

I purchased this 2 years ago and finally just got around to building the containers.  If this became a $250USD paperweight without even getting to use it I'm going to be extremely disappointed. 😔

Any suggestions for resolving?

Seen several firmware issues and they are rarely toast.  Make sure you reset the controller before upgrading.

Thanks, that's good to know.  I've tried the reset and it does confirm the resetting.  It still just constantly reboots and the firmware doesn't update.  It doesn't even try to update the firmware now.  

Do you know where to get an older version of the firmware to attempt?

Great, thanks!  Currently on loading 2 of 6 on 2.55 firmware.  How long would this normally take?  It's been about 5 minutes so far.

Not normally that long.  Have you tried a different SD card?

Normally I do but I'm at work and the only one I have access.  If it continues to fail I'll bring it home.  I normally have a dozen kicking around but can't seem to find any. LOL
