I am trying to help another lighter (remotely) get FPP loaded onto a RasPi-4.  He is not getting an IP, and nothing tethering works.  Out of desperation, I had him hook up a monitor, and this is what he sees:

If the image does not imbed, here is a direct link to it:  http://www.newburghlights.org/images/11955.jpeg

If he plugs a different computer into the cable instead of the RasPi, that computer will get an IP from his router.  The Pi does not.  Any ideas?

He is using FPP-v6.1-Pi.img.zip and used dotNet disk Imager to write the uSD card.
Using LOR (mostly SuperStar) for all sequencing - using FPP only to drive P5 and P10 panels.

What type of tethering?

That looks like he might not have flashed the image to the card but copied the files?

Tried WiFi (not seen) and Ethernet.  Accoring to the manual, Pi-4 does not support USB.

Nope.  He used dotNet Disk Imager.

Working.  Had him re-image.  This time the only difference was that he unzipped the image file first.  I know dotNet disk imager can handle a .zip file, but it worked with the second image burn.  Doing config now...

Yep.  That was my guess as well.  I know he did it right the first time - I was walking him through it while watching on TeamViewer.  But at least it's working.
Was fully able to configure FPP to control a P10 matrix via a ColorLight card, and was able to send sequencing to it from LOR as planned.  We were both happy!
