Title: Does polarity of input power matter?
Post by: gpvillamil on January 16, 2019, 03:16:29 PM
I'm driving the PiCap with 5V 4A.

The PSUs came with a barrel connector, so I cut that off and used a multimeter to check polarity. I attached a flag to ground. Then made sure to connect ground to ground, and V+ to V+.

It works fine, but I wonder if this is necessary? Does it matter if V+ and GND are wired in a specific way?

Thanks, I figured that would be the case. Especially with LEDs.
