Title: Connecting and Dimming Non-LED/Non-RGB Light Strips with F16v2
Post by: johnnybroccoli on February 17, 2019, 02:32:16 PM
Hello,

I was wondering if it was possible to plug regular Christmas light strips that are non LED or RGB into a F16v2 though the voltage ports and if the lights will dim on and off. Is this possible or would I have to get a different controller?

No you can not use "regular" lights with the F16. The F16 controls "smart" RGB pixels and strips. . If you want to control 120v lights you culd go with a LOR, Lynx Express or Renard controller. There are other ones out there also. If it's "dumb" RGB's your looking to control there are "dumb" controllers out there to control "dumb" RGB's through Holiday Coro, Amazon, Ebay, Aliexpress. It would ultimately depend on what it is you trying to do.
