So can I only operate the Smart Receivers in normal mode (one cat5 each SR) using a F16v2 controller w/diff expansion board?

I bought these thinking I could run one cat5 and daisy chain from SR1 to SR2 to SR3, but is a F16v3 w/ latest firmware required for this?

Currently, I run a dedicated cat5 to each SR from the F16v2 diff expansion board ... was just hoping to reduce to one cat5 if possible to minimize cords on the roof.

ok I think figured out the answer to this ... i need a firmware update to use the new smart DR boards (in smart mode) with the f16v2 and it doesn't exist.  i am ok using as is ... in dumb DR mode.   it's just one more wire.

Taybrynn,

I have the same setup ... F16V2 (Blue board) and a new F16V2/F16V3 Differential Expansion Board

I do know the F16V2 will not allow daisy chaining of the Smart Receivers like you can do with the F16V3 ... They only work in "dumb" receiver mode.
