Multisync Issues at Show Start

I upgraded all PIs to 4.5 this year before the start of the show.  They are all on their own dedicated wifi access point with static IPs.  When the master starts the show, none of the remote PIs respond and the show only plays on the master.  The only way I have been able to resolve this would be to restart the master PI.  All of the PIs are pingable from the master, so I am not sure where the issue is.  How can I troubleshoot?  I have attached the multisync config.  Is there a way to do a scheduled restart before the show so I don't have to monitor this?  Thanks for your help.

You have Mulitcast Sync enabled and it may be that your home network does not support Multicast properly (many do not).  You might try disabling Multicast and using Unicast or Broadcast sync to see if it works any better for you.

You also should update FPP to v4.5.1-5 (or higher).  You have multiple IP address on several of your Remotes and the updated version allows you to specify which IP address to send the sync packets to.

Thank you!  I changed to broadcast sync and everything is working well.  I tried Unicast earlier but the remotes wouldn't stay checked and only a few were discovered at a time.

Slightly off track, but does this update have to take place across all FPPs?  Or, if I update master, would this allow me to specify the IP address as you describe, above?  I have about 25 FPP remotes around the neighborhood running 4.3 and my master running 4.4-1.  It's been running fine, but occasionally I get an odd behavior or unicast "uncheck" on one of the remotes.  If I only had to update the master, I'd do that now.  But with everything working well 98% of the time, I'll wait 'til after the peak part of the season to update if the remotes need the update as well.

You only need to update the Master to get this new setting because Master is the only one that sends sync packets

Also, if you're using Unicast sync, make sure you turn off (UN-check) Multicast and Broadcast sync

Thanks, Mark.  That was my guess.  But sometimes, I'm not a very good guesser.  I'll plan to give it a shot when I can get a free afternoon to upgrade the Master.
