I will be adding a virtual matrix using a projector for this season. I've been looking at some of the screen material available on amazon, PVC and EPPE Polymer but after reading the reviews it appears this type of material is affected by temperature. I would mount this to a home build fame so that it is taught but in the off-season it will be stored in a place that would fluctuate temperatures greatly most likely producing wrinkles.

The space I intend to use is approximately 12' x 8'. I would like to utilize as much of that space as possible without distorting the images or going beyond the projector capabilities. It's a red brick wall, so whatever I use needs to be non-transparent. It also needs to hang from that wall so that it is off the ground about 4'.

I was wondering what others are using or if anyone had any suggestions.

I use the thin sheet-like material commonly found on amazon because I do rear projection from a window in my house for the show. Then, I wrap that around PVC and secure it that way.

Years ago Iv' used the white vinyl frosted shower curtains and taped 2 together with clear tape. and made a emt conduit frame for a outdoor movie. Now a days you can just buy a portable screen on ebay for less than $100 for a 200 in screen.

Thanks for the replies. I went with a 3 layer PVC type of screen. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07PKN51BN?ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details&th=1

A note for others that may want to use one. It comes folded and badly creased but after hanging on a wall taught for the last week or so all the creases are now gone. We will see how it works out this year, at least they are cheap if I need to replace or it just does not work out.
