Should I go for The F48V4

I have an unused F48V3. My current plans for my display are around 10k pixels (30k channels) for house outlines and maybe another 10k pixels (30k channels for other props. Would I be better off selling my F48V3 and differential boards and instead buy the currently unavailable F48v4 for next year? I spent a lot of time on this and it seems considering my small display I am just fine continuing with the F48v3 but I wanted to check.

Either way would work but if you want to sell, I would do it now while there is a high demand.  Once the season is over, you could still sell it but you may not get the best price when the V4 becomes available again.  I would just stick with the V3 since you already have the equipment and it can handle everything you want it to do.  I currently have the V3 and have no intention to sell it.  My only concern is with the receivers.  I hope that that they either continue to produce the V1 receiver or they make the newer one compatible with the F48V3 and if not, then I would simply be done with Falcon equipment and just go with Kulp which is also a good controller.

Unless you like throwing money away, I would stick with the v3.  Especially with the v4 being released, you will not get anywhere near what you paid for the v3 when you bought it.  Unless there is some specific need that is only met with the v4, you don't really gain anything by replacing it.
Using LOR (mostly SuperStar) for all sequencing - using FPP only to drive P5 and P10 panels.

That is a lot of pixels just for an outline!

Probably not, yes there are some improvements in the V4 but probably not anything that you couldn't do with the V3.

You should be fine.
If to err is human, I am more human than most people.

Thanks for all the responses. @Poporacer I totally messed up on the number of pixels for the outline. I wish I had a house that big, or maybe not, too much cleaning and unaffordable taxes :o :o . It's actually more like 1k pixels. No 0 after the 1... So I guess I am totally clear with this the v3. As I said, I am pretty new to pixels and have only put together a couple boxes, hooked up a TR24 to it and played a bit around. I don't need the number of pixels the v4 has (not even the v3) but it appears management of the pixels seems easier with the v4. It's probably irrelevant for my small display.

There is a chance F48v4's may remain out of stock during 2022, so keep that in mind.
