Anyone have any luck running these pucks on a Kulp controller? I was told they act just like a 2811 but I'm not having any luck. I have connected them like I would expect.

They do work on a tester I have, but with not work on a differential receiver in test mode, or off the K8.

Any ideas?

Thanks
Todd

On the pixel output page, there is a Timing drop down.  Did you set it for 1903?   The 1903's protocol is similar to the ws281x, but it's requires longer up times, and thus needs to slow down a bit.

Thanks I'll look into that. 🤞

I did get this to work by changing that to 1903. Will that effect the 2811 and 2812B pixels that I have running on this controller also?

Thanks,

It may.   As I said, it does slow down the protocol a bit.   It's a bit outside the spec for the ws281x pixels, but most of the ws281x pixels are fine with it, but not all.  Likely depends on the age of the pixels and what batch of ws281x chips or whatever.   It's really just "try is and see".
