Unable to change color curves

I may have missed something in a update but, I can not seem the change the color curve of the colors in my palette.  Each custom color curve is set to the clock and I'm unable to change it to the arrows.  I've re-rendered some of my sequences before I noticed this issue and they got screwed up.  Looking at the .xcc or .xpalette files, the TimeCurve setting is =3.  If I try to manually change the file, it messes up the palette in xLights.  Clicking on the clock has no effect.  This happens whether I'm using an old palette or create a new one.  Is this an bug or did something change?

Nevermind.  I figured it out.  The color must be applied to an effect in order the change it.  And... it only works on certain effects.
