Remotes going idle

I have a 30 second sequence playing on loop as "landscape lighting".  Have done this for years now.  My master K16AB sends to 3 remotes on multicast, all K-8Bs.  One remote is wired, the master and other remotes are wireless.  Unifi network equipment with IGMP snooping enabled.  All devices on the same VLAN.

Lately, the remotes are going idle during the sequence.  Master is still playing, and remotes are waiting for multi sync data.  Light output from remotes goes dark, master light output stays on.  Eventually the remotes will see multicast again and output like normal, but then they'll lose it again.

Everything running latest FPP 8.2.  Have re-updated FPP multiple times, restarted FPP and rebooted all controllers.  Created a new sequence and symptoms remain.

Some routers don't handle multicast Multisync, try using Unicast.
If to err is human, I am more human than most people.

I've used this router for over a year now, haven't had problems until recently.

I'll try unicast

What a long day... Unicast did resolve the issue for a while at least, but then it was back like a bad case of the hiccups.  Ultimately, I was able to get a few hours without any issues in multicast.  Here's how,

With the master set to multicast, and knowing I use other multicast devices on the network, IGMP Snooping was enabled within my router.  However it seemed that my router wasn't performing the functions of the querier switch like it should have been.  After assigning a secondary switch as the querier, multicast seems to be functioning like normal.  It's hard to see lights turning off and on again in daylight on camera, but fortunately it was stormy today, so I was able to monitor at least a couple lights if just barely.

For those interested, my router is an up to date Ubiquiti UDM-Pro.  Should be more than adequate to handle IGMP and even run as a querier switch.  For some reason, it's just not doing so.  Secondary switch is a USG-24-G2.  I'm still not sure if the router just wasn't properly designated as the querier or if the election process failed or got hung up somehow.

Thanks Poporacer for guiding me back to IGMP Snooping.  I had been there before, but assuming it was correct, I was starting to think I had an FPP Phantom.
