I'm posting this in case it helps someone else...

I purchased a Kulp K4-PB earlier this year. I was unable to run any lights through ports #2 or #4. I spent a few hours playing with settings and configuring input/output setup but no luck (I am new to FPP). Then I noticed there was NO GREEN LIGHT above ports #2 or #4. Ports #1 and #3 had the green light and worked perfectly. I thought perhaps I somehow fried part of the board.

I updated FPP from v7 to v8.3 (new image to SD card) but this didn't help.

I saw a link for the 'cape info' page at the bottom of the upgrade page (also 'install EEPROM' button on channel outputs page). It showed that I was using EEPROM version 2.2 however the physical K4-PB board was labelled v3.

I upgraded the K4-PB EEPROM to v3 ... It did warn me that my board should be at v2.2 however I proceeded anyways.

After a reboot, all 4 ports had green lights and everything seems to be working now.

What a relief!
