 Can a Raspberry Pi 500 be used in and with FPP?  Can I hook the ethernet cablesfrom a PC to the P1 500 to get it to work together?

    Any and all help would be appreciated.

Simple to try. Download the rpi image and put it on a new sdcard. Plug it into your rPI500 and see what happens.
