BeagleBone Black Indutrial won't boot FPP

Bought a New BBB but wen it arrived I noticed it was a reddish board and the box said BeagleBone Black Industrial.  Sealed box by Seeed.

Is the BBB Industrial a different board than the Black boards I have...this red won't boot FPP.  If I connect to HDMI and pull the uSD, it boots to a Debian GNU/Linux screen.  I can login, but then I lost and exit.

I've tried pressing the S2 button to boot FPP but no help.  Assuming the INDUSTRIAL is my barrier to boot FPP.

Anyone experienced with the Industrial product.  Can I use it for FPP or is this a return item

It should definitely be booting.   Two of the controllers in my show are Industrials.   My master is also an industrial.  

I hope you aren't determining it's not booting by the HDMI screen.   FPP completely disables the HDMI port on the beagles.   Nothing should show up on the screen.

Did you download the BBB version of FPP?

Are you getting the 4 leds to light?

I don't understand...plugged in a WiFi dongle with a power down reboot and eth0 is alive.
Wow, hardwired eth0 and 20 plus reboots, v9.5.2, c9.5.2 redo, ten v9.5 just to check and still cannot find an IP. What magic does the dongle have?  Yea, I'm now running and happy.

Dan: Yes I know the HDMI is off by default, but forgot.  The only determining factor was to finally stop testing things and write a post for help.  Your conformation that Industrials are good cause me to try a dongle....I was gonna use it any way.

Mike:  Yes and yes.  And the heartbeat lights emulated my nearing heart attack of frustration.

Uh-oh . . . I Tethered on v9.5.2 this morning.  Disabled tether and all seems fine.
Not my initial issue because I was eth0 only.
(v9.5 upgraded to v9.5.2)

"Reimaged" to v9.5.2 image: boots to wifi with tethering set to "if no connection."

Continuing to test tether issue with several hot boots and several cold boots on redo v9.5.2. All boots connect to wifi as expected.  Something about the upgrade from v9.5 to v9.5.2 caused the unwanted tethering.  Does the upgrade miss the fix in v9.5.1.1
